Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This memorial website was created in the memory of my mom Helen Murphy who was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania on January 26, 1935 and passed away on Tuesday August 17, 2004 at the age of 69. We will remember her forever. She is greatly missed by me, my dad {her loving husband Tom}, Grandchildren, Tom , Brett and Alissa. And anyone who ever had their lives touched by her.
She had a witty sense of humor until the end. And always made all of us smile!
Even now just thinking about some of the funny things she always did brings a smile to our faces. And we are so happy to have such great memories of mom.
In my eyes she is the best mom, wife and grandmother there ever was. And hope I can be the mom she always was to me.
Love ya Mom, Forever and Always XOXOXO

Death leaves a heartache no one can Heal...
Love leaves a memory no one can Steal.

Memories are like threads of gold, They never tarnish or grow old."

Please light a candle in memory of Mom.

"When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts.
You are connected to your child and to all those who touch your lives.

A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once
for her child.

"A mother is one to whom you hurry when you are troubled." ~Emily Dickinson

I miss thee, my Mother! Thy image is still
The deepest impressed on my heart.

I cannot forget my mother. She is my bridge. When I needed to get across, she steadied herself long enough for me to run across safely. ~Renita Weems

It's not easy being a mother. If it were easy, fathers would do it. ~From the television show The Golden Girls

A man's work is from sun to sun, but a mother's work is never done. ~Author Unkown

Kathy, Sometimes the pain of loosing someone you love makes you forget that you are not alone. Thank you so much for lighting a candle on my Dad's site. It brought tears to my eyes to see that other people really do care, And that I am not alone. You...  Continue >>

Her legacy
Something Mom would want everyone that she loved and left behind to know.

Please don’t feel guilty
It was just my time to go.
I see you are still feeling sad,
And the tears just seem to flow.
We all come to earth for our lifetime,
And for some it’s not many years
I don’t want you to keep crying
You are shedding so many tears.
I haven’t really left you
Even though it may seem so.
I have just gone to my heavenly home,
And I’m closer to you than you know.
Just believe that when you say my name
I’m standing next to you,
I know you long to see me,
But there’s nothing I can do.
But I’ll still send you messages
And hope you understand,
That when your time comes to “cross over,”
I’ll be there to take your hand.

Mom

For as long as I can remember...
You were always by my side,
To give me support, confidence and help.

For as long as I can remember...
You were always the person I looked up to,
So strong, so sensitive, so pretty.

For as long as I can remember...
You always provided stability within our family,
Full of laughter, full of tears, full of love.

For as long as I can remember...
And still today,
You are everything a mother should be.

Whatever I have become is because of you...
...and I thank you forever for our relationship.

More of her legacy...
